We recently attended a local job. A large conifer tree needed to be removed. Like so many domestic tree surgery jobs, this one was a case of the tree had been left to grow without management and had simply become too big for its surroundings.
As you can see from the photograph above the tree has completely dwarfed the surrounding houses. Unfortunately, when large trees are so close to houses they can begin to cause lots of unwanted problems.
Ascent Tree Solutions would always rather prune a tree where possible, but sometimes the tress had to be removed.

How do you cut a Conifer Tree Down
Ascent Tree Solutions are qualified arborists and we have all the specialist equipment to safely remove trees from your property. In this instance, the tree was too tall to be felled in a traditional manner. Instead, we used a technique called sectional dismantling. We used ropes and pulleys to climb up into the tree and remove the boughs and branches one at a time.
Our tree surgeons then carefully lower the larger logs and branches and they are removed. Smaller branches go straight into our chipper machine.
Once all the branches are removed, we then cut the trunk into manageable sections right down to ground level. The customer then has the option to have the tree stump removed by our stump grinding service.
Once the job was completed we tidied up all the called debris and sawdust, leaving the garden nice and tidy.
